Did the M365 Office package stop working after the migration?

If you still have your old Oamk M365 account in Office, reset the Office desktop version login using Microsoft SaRA (MS Support and Recovery Assistant) and then log in again.

  1. Remove the old Oamk account from Windows settings:
    1. Open Windows settings.
    2. Select Accounts.
    3. Select Work or school accounts.
    4. Remove the old oamk.onmicrosoft.com account.
  2. Important! When logging into Office/Teams, uncheck the box that says “allow your organization to manage this device.” This setting is only for devices managed by Oamk/ University of Oulu.

    please download and install Office-Reset:


  • Outlook on your phone:
    1. Remove the old account from your phone’s Outlook.
    2. Restart your phone.
    3. Add your current account to your phone.
  • If your phone persistently tries to use your old Oamk account:
    1. Add an account like somethingElse@students.oamk.fi (somethingElse should not be your actual username; the idea is to “trick” the phone into taking you to the login screen).
    2. Now log in with your actual username correctUsername@students.oamk.fi.
    3. Enter your password and confirm the login on your phone (MFA, i.e., multi-factor authentication).
