Company Portal service is available on the work devices of the University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences staff, provided that the devices are managed centrally by ICT Services in the cloud (so-called “Intune devices”).

Through the Company Portal, you can install or update applications without administrator rights.If there is popular demand, we can add more software to be available for download.

Installing and uninstalling applications

1. In the Company Portal home view, you will see your centrally managed devices. If you have more than one device (e.g., a laptop and a phone), select the device on which you want to install the applications.
2. Then open the Apps view. There you will see all applications available for the selected device.
3. To install an application, search for the application you need using the search field.
   (In the example image, the search field contains the text “secureprint,” and the search results show the secure print queues.)
   
4. Install an application by first clicking on its name and then selecting the Install button on its page.
   (In the example image, black‑and‑white printing is being installed.)
   
5. To remove an application, open the page of an already installed app and click Uninstall.
