1. If your Mac computer managed by the University of Oulu or Oamk is not yet under centralized management, you will receive the following notification on your computer starting from April 7:
   Enrollment Required
   Your organization requires this Mac to enroll in a different device management service. You are required to complete enrollment by 22. April 2026 at 13.00…

   Click on the notification to start right away, or you can postpone the enrollment to April 22, 2026, 1 PM the latest, when the enrollment will start automatically, provided that your computer is on and online.

2. In addition, the following Enroll Rerquired view will tell you that you will lose access to the system until the enrollment is complete. The enrollment will interrupt your work on your computer as soon as you begin. Please keep your computer turned on and connected to the internet for the whole process. During enrollment, you won’t be able to use the device.
   This is estimated to last for a maximum of one hour. To start the enrollment immediately, or to postpone it until later, click the Start Enrollement  button next.
3. Next, the Device Management view opens, where you can either start the enrollment immediately by clicking the Enroll button, or you can postpone it by clicking the Not now  button, which will close the Device Management view.
4. If you choose Enroll, you must authenticate yourself by entering your username and password in the Enroll Authentication pop-up window. Here you need to use the same username and password that you use to log in to your computer.
5. Next, sign in on the Microsoft sign‑in screen.
   • Enter your account in the format tunnus@univ.yo.oulu.fi or tunnus@oamk.fi and
   • select Next.
   • Then confirm the sign‑in with MFA.
6. Wait 10 minutes and restart the computer. When you log in to your computer again, it will ask you to reset your password. You can use the same password as before, as long as it meets the requirements set for passwords.
7. You will receive a notification on your computer:
   Registration Required
   Use your identity provider password to log in to your Mac.

   Click on the notification to start registering your computer in the new management service.

8. You will need to sign in again on the Microsoft sign‑in screen.
   • Enter your account in the format tunnus@univ.yo.oulu.fi or tunnus@oamk.fi and
   • select Next.
   • Then confirm the sign‑in with MFA.
9. RAfter registration, go to your computer system settings and enable automatic login: System Settings, General, Autofill & Passwords and under Autofill from, set the slider switch in Company Portal to the “on” position. Automatic login means that you don’t have to enter your password separately when you go to the Company portal.
10. Please restart your computer.
