- If you remember your old password, you can log into the service with your account+password
- If you have forgotten your password, you can log in using Suomi.fi e-identification

- You can activate your account if it is locked, for example, if you have not changed the password by the deadline

Resetting the MFA phone number
If you cannot access your MS account security info, for example in case your phone number has changed and a wrong number has been saved, set a new number directly through this link: https://account.oulu.fi/mfa -> Identify yourself in Suomi.fi e-Identification service.
Suomi.fi e-Identification service
Suomi.fi e-Identification is a shared strong identification service of public administration e-services. It enables you to log into the electronic services of public administration in Finland.
When going to university services, e.g. Password service (https://account.oulu.fi/passwd) and Accountinfo service (https://account.oulu.fi/accountinfo), your identity will be ensured in the Suomi.fi identification service. You must have one of these domestic identification methods in your use:
- Usually in order to verify your identity, you need both a Finnish personal identification code and your personal online banking account for one of these banks: Aktia | Danske Bank | Handelsbanken | Nordea | Oma Säästöpankki | Osuuspankki | POP Pankki | S-Pankki | Säästöpankki | Ålandsbanken. - A Finnish ID card can be used for E-Identification, read more: ID card issued by the Police – Suomi.fi and University Organisation certificate card
N.B. If you cannot set your password because it’s unpossible to use Suomi.fi e-Identification, then come to visit Campus ICT service point, prove your identity there to receive a new password. Please, prepare yourself for queueing!
