Howspace is an all-in-one digital facilitation platform specifically designed for facilitator-led workshops and events.
Creating a workspace
If you already have access to a workspace as its admin or participant, you can create a workspace. Create a workspace from Add workspace in the Me-menu. If you do not have access to any workspace, you can log in with SSO to the University of Oulu or Oamk Howspace, which are for creating new workspaces:
When you no longer need the workspace, archive it.

Ordering Howspace Workspaces
If you don’t have access to a workspace you can order one:
- ICT services are responsible for creating workspaces. Make an order by email to howspace@oulu.fi. Please include a name for the workspace. If you want a copy of an old workspace to use as a template, give the name of the course to be copied when placing the order.
- Both Oamk and University of Oulu staff can freely order workspaces.
(For University staff, this is possible starting from June 1, 2023. For Oamk staff it has been possible since February 2022.) - When you no longer need the workspace, archive it.
