Student workstations are computers maintained by ICT Services and they are either fixed workstations in classes and self-study rooms, or laptops that can be borrowed from laptop vendors.
Workstations | University of Oulu is the main page of fixed workstations used by university students, where you can see login instructions, location information and number of devices.
Laptop vendors are presented on the page Laptop Vendors | University of Oulu, where you can see the locations of the laptop vendors, their device quantities and instructions for using the vendors.
This page contains software lists of workstations and laptops.
In addition to the applications listed on this page, there in classrooms may be some science-specific programs. They can also be accessed via remote desktops from your own or university workstations. Their list of programs can be seen on the page: Remote desktops.
Course-specific or other possible software installation requests can be sent to the maintenance (mikrotilat@oulu.fi). If you need the program in a teaching situation, please contact us at least 2 weeks before teaching.
