NOTE: Both the laptop vendors for students and IT device vendors for the staff have been renewed as one service. All the lending facilities are available to students and staff of UO and Oamk. The old vendors have been decommissioned.

You can make a reservation for an IT device using the vendor’s console, or in web browser on your own phone or computer. When you borrow, you enter your own Microsoft account. Registration with a staff or student card will be introduced later.

Begin this way

1. Login to the IT Device Vendor using a QR code or link: https://oma.enkora.fi/ouluuniversity/ng/shop/home
2. Press Login with Entra ID. Entra ID means your MS account (account@univ.yo.oulu.fi, account@student.oulu.fi, account@oamk.fi, account@students.oamk.fi).
3. The first time, make an important change to your own profile, without which you will not be able to borrow: select Accessibility and activate feature Enable item pick up and return in browser.

Rules for IT Device Vendors

• The service can be used by students and full-time employees of the University of Oulu and Oamk.
• You can reserve a device for the current day or the next day.
  • The loan period is 1, 4 or 8 hours.
• The laptops operate throughout the Eduroam network coverage area of the campus.
  • Do not take the device out of this area.
• The device is always returned to the same IT Device Vendor where you took it.
• The loan period cannot be extended directly, but you must first return the original loan, and then make a new loan according to the instructions.

Responsibility of the borrower

• The device becomes your responsibility when the IT Device Vendor opens the door at the beginning of the quote. In this case, take the device out of the locker.
  • The Vendor may open another locker when returning, so it is important that you don’t “just try the service” and leave the device unattended.
• It is your responsibility to take into account the opening hours of the buildings and that you have time to return the device inside them.
• If you do not return the device within the deadline, you will receive two reminder messages to your email and the Campus ICT Support Service will then contact you.
• If you do not return the device despite reminder messages, the college will take the necessary measures.
