Under certain conditions, projects can publish their mobile applications (Android, iOS) under the account of the University of Oulu in the application stores (Google Play, App Store). There must be a designated person responsible for the maintenance of the application, the application should be useful for more than one end user and it is assumed that it will remain in the store for more than a few months. More detailed instructions can be found in the attached presentation. The process description can be found in the IMS system.
The instructions have been supplemented as follows on 12th January 2024
- Added requirement that the app must be developed for both iOS and Android.
- Added requirement that the publisher takes care of third-party app licenses and costs, etc.
- It is emphasized that the repair requirements presented by the stores must be read especially carefully and the repairs must be made appropriately.
